Our Work

Track Record of Impact Across Africa

We have a strong track record of collaboration with government bodies, health facilities, and stakeholders across various sectors. Our work reflects both institutional capacity and deep hands-on experience. We have supported the Ministry of Health, county departments, the Council of Governors, and NHIF/SHA in health policy development, budget advocacy, and integrating community health into planning and financing.

Our teams have worked with partners like UNICEF, Amref Health Africa, WHO, the World Bank, Africa CDC, and Abt Associates to advance health systems strengthening, financing reforms, and evidence-based advocacy.

Globally, we have been supporting the fight against HIV TB and Malaria, working with The Global funds in 9 African countries where we are undertaking capacity building in health systems and strengthening (HSS), human resource for health (HRH) and procurement and supply chain management (PSM).

In Kenya, AHN has been at the centre of health programming in the last decade, shaping various aspects of the Kenya health sector including digitization of the Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR) tools, Roll out of the Multi-View Vein Based Biometric Patient Authentication System For The Kenya Health Information System, among other transformative projects. We have been working with USAID-funded HIV program in six counties, through the University of Nairobi and IMA World Health. Our role included program design review, MTEF budget analysis, M&E, and HRH management. We have also partnered with UNICEF for over nine years, supporting CLTS and nutritional services implementation in 17 counties since 2017.
